Batavia, NY — There are only 72 more calls to the post left in the 2011 racing season at America’s oldest lighted harness track and while the summer-fall meet is clearly in the homestretch, the Pick-6 carryover pool continues to grow.

When racing resumes at Batavia Downs Casino on Wednesday night (Nov. 23), the Pick-6 will begin with a carryover pool of $4,800. The Pick-6 is a $2 base wager and encompasses races seven through 12. Approximate post time for the seventh race is 8:28 p.m. (EST).

If the Pick-6 is not won on Wednesday night, then the entire pool will be paid out to whoever picks the most winners on Friday night (Nov. 25), the final night the Pick-6 wager will be offered during the 2011 season.
