Pick 6 Carryover surpasses $100K at Big M; National Pick Four pays $1,846

East Rutherford, NJ — Double-digit winners dominated the Saturday card, producing a hefty $109,462 Pick Six carryover heading into the final night of Meadowlands Racetrack’s January-August harness meet.

The entire Pick Six pool must be paid out on the Friday, August 20 program, which will feature the William R. Haughton Memorial, Golden Girls, Sweetheart and Woodrow Wilson finals. A $1 base wager, the Pick Six is offered on races four through nine. A nine-day Pick Six carryover produced a $131,599 payout on Saturday, February 6, 2010. It was the highest payout this year and the second highest in track history behind a record $1.3 million pool and $193,384 payoff on April 4, 2009.

National Pick Four Pays $1,846

The Back to the Track National Pick Four wager returned $1,846.60 for a $1 wager on Saturday night.

There were 26 tickets with the winning sequence of 10/1,8/5/2,3. Offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Back to the Track promotion, the wager began with Meadowlands race nine, followed by one race each from Northfield Park (9), Yonkers (9) and Balmoral Park (8). The pool totaled $56,571.
