Marlborough, MA — Plainridge track announcer Lenny Calderone is headed for the ‘big time.’

The personable Calderone, who is also director of simulcasting at the track, will be the voice over the public address system at Fenway Park next week, accordng to track officials Gary T. Piontkowski and Stephen O’Toole. He will be Fenway’s voice for the August 24 game when the Boston Red Sox host the Kansas City Royals.

When Lenny takes his memorable fling at stardom, some of the Plainridge faithful will surely tune in.
