Plainville, MA — The live racing program for Thursday, August 11 at Plainridge Park Casino has been canceled due to the extreme heat forecast for southeastern Massachusetts.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Thursday afternoon, when the heat index is predicted to be in excess of 100 degrees.
Live racing will resume at Plainridge Park Casino on Monday August 15, at the traditional 4 p.m. post time.
