Plainville, MA — Pre-meet qualifying races at Plainridge Park Casino are scheduled for Monday (July 6) and Thursday (July 9). Post time is 1 p.m. both days.

Both qualifying cards will be drawn on Thursday (July 2). The box will close at 9 a.m.

Since opportunities will be limited, trainers are asked to enter only those horses that need to qualify at this time.

Where possible, trainers are asked to enter pacing horses and geldings for the Monday qualifying session, and pacing mares and trotters for the Thursday card. This will help to get horses on the proper schedule when live racing begins on Monday (July 13).

The race office will attempt to balance the number of entries between the two qualifying sessions in order to maintain as much social distancing as possible. We thank all horsemen in advance for their co-operation.

As a reminder, all dates advertised are in accordance with Massachusetts’ phased reopening program and assume that Phase 3 begins as scheduled.
