Plainridge Racecourse Press Release

Plainville, MA — Plainridge Racecourse has asked the Massachusetts Gaming Commission to approve a request to end the current live racing season on Thursday November 14, 2013.

The request comes on the heels of recently passed legislation allowing a reduction in racing days. With the two week earlier closing, Plainridge will still conduct twelve more racing days than the past two racing seasons.

Pending the approval of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, Thursday November 14 will be the final day of live racing at Plainridge Racecourse for the 2013 season. Post time will be at 1 P.M.
