Plainridge to accept donations for local food bank

by Jack Ginnetti

Marlborough, MA — Thursdays at Plainridge Racecourse will help the local Plainville food bank. Donate any non-perishable items to the Plainville Living Bread Food Pantry and receive a free Plainridge harness program.

The donation box is located in the track’s front lobby and will be ongoing on Thursdays the entire meet, according to track officials.

Racing continues at Plainridge on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Post time is 4 p.m.

Jim Hardy has taken a slight lead as the meet’s top driver with Steve Nason and Mike Eaton in pursuit.
