Wilkes-Barre, PA — Father’s Day is a great day to spend with your dad, and taking him to the racetrack is a great way to spend the evening. This Sunday night, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is celebrating dads with a special giveaway.

The first 250 dads in the door, starting at 6 p.m., will get a $10 live racing voucher, good for Pocono racing that night. The line may form starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Pacers Clubhouse lobby.

“We have so many great fans here at Pocono,” said Dale Rapson, Vice President of Racing Operations, “And a good number of them are fathers. We did something special on Mother’s Day, so we had to make sure that our guests that are fathers get a treat also.”

Live racing gets underway at 6:30 p.m.

Racing continues Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, with the addition of Fridays in July and August. September through November, racing will take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
