Wilkes-Barre, PA — Due to the potential for inclement weather, the first qualifying date for Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs has been moved from Thursday, March 10, to Friday, March 11, at 10 a.m. The box will close Thursday at 11 a.m.

The National Weather Service predicts a messy mix of rain, snow and sleet Wednesday night into Thursday and then a heavy all-day rain with up to two inches possible. Friday’s forecast calls for only light precipitation and a high of 47 degrees.
