Wilkes-Barre, PA — West Nile vaccinations will be required for all horses racing at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs beginning with the race date of Aug. 10.

Horsemen should file a clearly marked certificate from your vet stating that a vaccine has been administered during the 2013 calendar year. Consult your vet regarding the different vaccination options.

Horses racing on Aug. 10 are asked to have certificates on file in time for the draw on Aug. 6 but no later than 10 a.m. on Aug. 7. Any horses without certificates on file by the deadline will be scratched.
