Pompano Beach, FL – On Wednesday ( Dec. 22) in what may be a handicapping first, Pompano Park track handicapper, John Berry, had an ice cold pentafecta in Wednesday night’s fourth race.

Berry’s handicapping selections, shown in the nightly program under his “Berry Pickin’s” headline, had the 10-6-3-7-4 pentafecta in exact order with the 10-1 outsider Donegalartchokin N on top with Elm Grove Nellie, Ask Me Ifi Care, Prairie Cougar and Machin Marley following.

The 20-cent pentafecta ticket was worth $355.90 while the $2 trifecta returned $473.60. Completing the ice cold sweep was the exacta worth $121.60.
