Pompano Beach, FL — The popular 20 cent Jackpot Hi-Five wager was introduced a couple of weeks ago at Pompano Park to give fans a shot at a potential ‘home run’ payoff, and that is exactly what happened for one lucky patron on Tuesday evening (Dec. 9).

Oddly enough, the wide open finale was won by the 5-2 betting favorite, Taylor B Swift (Bruce Ranger), who parlayed a perfect second over journey to sweep past her rivals for the victory. The Super Hi-Five order of finish with off odds are shown below:

2. Miss Sand Cruiser (4-1)
3. Leihla Seelster (25-1)
4. Bedrock Motel (3-1)
5. Fox Valley Twist (46-1)

Despite three of the betting favorites in the top four, there was one ‘unique’ winner when the dust settled who collected a whopping $10,889.10 for the 20 cent combination.

The Jackpot Hi-Five will start anew on Wednesday evening.

Live racing continues on a five night per week schedule, with a 7:30 p.m. post on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings. The Pick-4 features a $5,000 guarantee on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
