Pompano Beach, FL — Fans were unable to recover on Monday night (Jan. 29) in the Pompano Pick-5 after Culinary Delight (Peter Wrenn) pulled off a 22-1 upset to kick-off the card, with no live tickets even making it into the fifth and final leg.
The result is a $5,441 carryover into the first race on Tuesday (Jan. 30) night. Track officials, in conjunction with the USTA Strategic Wagering Program, have placed an ‘instant guarantee’ of $25,000 on the total pool.
The Tuesday night card will also offer a season’s high $137,117 Jackpot Hi-Five carryover in the finale, and a $10,000 guaranteed Pick-4 pool beginning in race five.
Live racing continues at the Isle Casino Pompano Park five nights per week, with a first post of 7:20 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday evenings. There will be no live racing Super Bowl Sunday.
