Pompano Park donates $25,140 to charities

Pompano Beach, FL — The Isle Casino & Racing at Pompano Park gave $25,140 to four local and national charity groups as part of their annual closing night festivities on Saturday, August 2.

Accepting the charity check, from left to right, are Gregory Jones (Boys & Girls Club of Broward County), Domenic Faro & Diane Vogt (Cooperative Feeding Program Ft. Lauderdale), Ray Wolowicz & Mandy DeBoard (Horses & the Handicapped) and Steven Wolf (Isle Pompano Park & Harness Horse Youth Foundation).

Senior Director of Racing Operations, Steven Wolf, presented the big check that is shared among the four charities.

Part of the annual Isle Pompano Park community giving program, the four charities that were awarded from the 2007-2008 season were the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County, the Cooperative Feeding Program of Ft. Lauderdale, the Horses & the Handicapped of South Florida and the national Harness Horse Youth Foundation.
