Ponda Luck wins stretch duel, takes Meadows co-feature

Washington, PA — Ponda Luck outlasted Lone Wolf Jake in a spirited stretch duel and captured Wednesday’s (Jan. 18) co-feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $10,900 conditioned pace.

Ponda Luck was stalking Lone Wolf Jake from the pocket when Ridge Warren tipped him off the cones in the final turn. The 4-year-old Luck Be Withyou-Fancy Miss gelding was the stronger horse in the lane, downing Lone Wolf Jake by three-quarters of a length in 1:55.1. TSM Tristan T rallied for show.
