Toronto, ON — The Woodbine Entertainment Group would like to remind all horsemen of a special New Year’s Eve program on Friday afternoon (Dec. 31) with a 1:20 p.m (EST) post time. Woodbine will continue racing on New Year’s Day (Jan. 1), also with a 1:20 p.m. post time.

A reminder as well, that beginning in the new year Woodbine Racetrack will switch to a new post time schedule. There will be racing on Monday nights, and Thursday through Saturday nights, with a scheduled post time of 7:10 p.m.

That scheduled post time will be effective Jan. 3 and will remain throughout the remainder of the 2011 racing season, except for the following dates:

• April 1 to May 16, October 3 to December 3 — 7:30 p.m.
• January 1, December 26, December 31 — 1:20 p.m.
• May 22 — 6:30 p.m.
• October 29 — 6:30 p.m.
