SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The richest night in the history of Saratoga Gaming and Raceway will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, when the $1.2 million New York Sire Stakes Night of Champions is featured on the card. Saratoga Gaming and Raceway will host a special press conference on Wednesday, Sept. 14, to draw the post positions for each of the eight $150,000 Night of Champions finals.

The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Fortune’s, the clubhouse restaurant. Following a brief press conference with officials of the New York Sire Stakes program, track management, owners of horses entered on the Night of Champions, trainers and drivers, the draw for the post positions will take place at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Refreshments will be served and the connections of horses entered in the Night of Champions events are invited to attend.

New York-bred horses have competed in the New York Sire Stakes all summer long to earn points for the championships and the top eight in the point standings will compete on Saturday for the title in their division.
