Propulsion colt tops Swedish yearling sale

At a Swedish hybrid sale 29 yearlings were offered for sale. The most expensive sold was a colt, Aberama Gold, sired by Propulsion and out of the mare Break on Through, who sold for $78,000.

Break on Through is a half-sister to Green Manalishi S 3,1:50.3 ($1,182,017), who now stands at Tara Hills Farm; his first crop has hit the ground this year.

Break on Through (sired by Viking Kronos) raced only once and has a 3-year-old filly, Jest, who has won three races from six starts, timed in 1:59.4 and has earnings of $15,000.

Aberama Gold was by far the most expensive yearling at the sale and was bought by Stall Zet, who owned and raced Propulsion in Sweden.

The full results from the sale can be seen here.
