Rocklamation rocketed to the front from post 10, taking the elite field through an opening quarter in :26.2 and a half in 55. Meanwhile, Put On A Show, a daughter of 2004 Metro winner Rocknroll Hanover, was sitting a perfect third as the 3-2 choice until moving to collar the pacesetter as the three-quarters was reached in 1:22.

She then coasted to the wire to score by 2-1/2 lengths over Anndrovette, with Monkey On My Wheel third in 1:48.3. Rocklamation faded to fourth.

It was the 29th career win for Put On A Show, who missed all of last year, following a 3-year-old campaign which saw her take 12 of 16 outings, including the Breeders Crown, and more than $1.1 million.

As the chalk, Put On A Show paid $5.00, $3.70 and $3.10, combining with Anndrovette ($4.50, $3.00) for a $22.20 (7-2) exactor. A 7-2-5 (Monkey On My Wheel, $6.60) triactor was worth $123.60.
