Augusta, ME — With opening day just around the corner on March 31, Scarborough Downs has released their qualifying schedule.

The first qualifier will be held on Wednesday (March 21) at 10 a.m. The remaining qualifying days will be on Saturday (March 24), Wednesday (March 28) and Friday (March 30).

Scarborough Downs would like to remind everyone that every horse will be required to have a valid coggins test and EHV vaccinations within six months.

Just a friendly reminder that any horse that is enrolled in the Controlled Medication Program in Maine must have all of their paperwork filed with the Commission Veterinarian before it can be declared in to start. You may submit your paperwork on the day the horse qualifies with the Commission Veterinarian. All of these forms can be downloaded on the MSHRC website at this link.
