Berlin, MD — The sights and sounds of harness horses return to Ocean Downs on Saturday, June 11, with the first of three pre-meet qualifying days.

With Race Secretary Craig Andow gearing up for a new and improved 40 day summer meet, entries are currently being processed.

“We have qualifiers set up for this Saturday, followed by Wednesday, June 15, and Saturday, June 18,” said Andow. “After that, all qualifying events will be held on Fridays.”

Work is being performed at an accelerated rate with the return of racing to the Ocean oval for the first time in two years. With new press box accommodations, a new state of the art HD toteboard and upgraded purse structure in place, the action on the eastern shore is sure to be a big hit for both horsemen and fans.

Those horsemen looking to drop in their horses to qualify must do by calling the main number, 410.641.0600, ex. 3211 or 3212.
