Plainville, MA — In preparation for the second half of its 2009 season, Plainridge Racecourse will hold qualifying races on Tuesday, August 25, at 12 p.m.

The racing office will re-open on Monday, August 24, and the entry box for these qualifying events will close at noon time.

Plainridge Racecourse restarts its season on Monday, August 31, and the fall meet will continue through November 28. Live racing will be conducted every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the traditional autumn post time of 1 p.m.

The fall portion of the season at Plainridge is highlighted by the track’s signature event, the $75,000 Bert Beckwith Pace, along with the Stan Bergstein Pace and the 2009 program of the Massachusetts Sire Stakes.
