Harrington, DE — The eighth annual Bobby Quillen Memorial at Harrington Raceway has drawn 11 of the top older pacers in the country. A pair of $20,000 eliminations will be contested Monday (Sept. 8).

The sport’s richest horse and previous Quillen champ, Foiled Again, heads the first division as the program’s eighth race. The Ron Burke trainee and winner of $6.5 million drew post five for owners Burke Racing, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and JJK Stables.

I Like Dreamin, Tarpon Hanover, Easy Again and Doctor Butch complete the first division.

In the second division, slated 10th on the program, Baron Racing and Richard Lombardo’s Dancin Yankee, a July supplement, drew the rail off a recent win in the $260,000 Joe Gerrity Jr. Memorial at Saratoga.

Defending Quillen champ Clear Vision drew post five for Burke, Weaver Bruscemi, The Panhellenic Stables and James Koran. Clear Vision won the 2013 edition of the Quillen after an epic battle with Foiled Again throughout the final quarter-mile.

Heston Blue Chip, Bettor’s Edge, Aracache Hanover and Statesman N will fulfill the field for the second division.

The top four from each division will return to compete in the Sept. 15 final for a purse of $200,000 (est.).

Morning line odds will be available at scratch time Wednesday (Sept. 3).
