Race Track Industry Program seeking new associate coordinator

Tucson, AZ — The Race Track Industry Program today announced the official position opening and search for a lecturer and associate coordinator at the University of Arizona’s internationally recognized program.

The responsibilities associated with the position include teaching courses, advising students and assisting in the overall operation, organization and conduct of program activities, including the Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming and other outreach efforts.

A person in this position has the opportunity to interface with all segments of the racing industry through various activities including assistance in securing internships and job placement for students as well as identifying future opportunities for both academic programs and service projects for the industry.

The minimum qualifications to be considered for the position include a B.S. or B.A. degree and two years experience in the racing industry; the preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in business or a business-related field or 10 years experience in upper management. Effective communication skills are required and teaching experience is desirable.
