Racine Bell got away last in the six-horse field before making a big move to the three-quarter pole. The 3-year-old So Surreal filly sizzled in the backstretch and powered past her rivals to open up a commanding six-length lead and stop the timer in 1:54.3 in line to Jimmy DeVaux. Birch Island Betty (Mitchell Cushing) closed in the final quarter to take second; Firstup (Shawn Gray) held on to finish third.

Racine Bell, a New York Sire Stakes star this summer, won for the seventh time in 13 starts this year for trainer Dave Dewhurst. She paid $6.20 to win.

Live racing at Saratoga resumes on Monday afternoon (Nov. 9), with first post time set for 12 noon.
