Ft. Washington, MD — Racing Naked ($2.80, $2.20, $2.10) dominated a Winners Over field of pacers at Rosecroft Raceway on Saturday night, Feb. 2, carrying the field through a wire-to-wire mile.

The 8-year-old Misfit horse held a steady lead throughout the race with driver Frank Milby at his lines, winning by over four lengths. John Sumner trains the earner of over $275,000 lifetime for owner William Camp, Jr.

Yokozuna Bo ($3.80, $2.40) made up several lengths through the back half of the mile to finish second with Victor Kirby in the sulky. Trained by Betsy Brown for owner Ralph Hayward, the 4-year-old Allie’s Western horse was sitting sixth along the rail before hitting the top of the stretch.

Ethical Hanover ($3.40) finished third with owner-trainer Alvin Lineweaver at his lines. The 7-year-old Jenna’s Beach Boy gelding sat behind the leader in second, but faded in the stretch to finish 7-3/4 lengths behind Racing Naked.

Due to a timer malfunction, there were no fractions recorded for this race.

Live racing returns to Rosecroft next Friday, February 8, at 6:30 p.m.
