Come Together wins seventh straight as Callahan captures four at Dover

Dover, DE — Pacer Come Together, trainer Mike Hall and driver Corey Callahan picked up where they left off in 2012 by starting the New Year in winning style on Tuesday (Jan. 1) at Dover Downs.

Come Together registered his seventh win in a row, taking the $20,000 male claiming allowance in 1:52.3. Mike Hall of the Doug Lewis Stable, who has taken over as leading trainer at the meet, trains the Artsplace-Pleasantville gelding, driven to victory by the meet’s leading driver Corey Callahan, who posted four winning drives to bring his total this season to 99.

Claimed out of his previous start by Kent Harper and Claim To Fame LLC, the win marks the third in a row with Callahan at the helm. Peachys Pistol (Allan Davis) was runner-up with Ooh Dear Sam (Tony Morgan) third.

In addition to Callahan’s four wins, drivers Tony Morgan, Ross Wolfenden and Mike Cole, trainers Mike Hall and Joe Hundertpfund, and owner Claim To Fame LLC had two winners.
