Dover, DE — Dancin Yankee, won his second consecutive $30,000 Preferred/Handicap; and All Stienam, the $27,500 Delaware Special, both driven by Chris Page for trainer Josh Green and part of a four-win output for the trainer and driver, dominated the top races of the Dover Downs week on Thursday, Feb. 6.
Page sent Baron Racing’s Dancin Yankee three wide on the last turn to blitz home a 1:50.2 winner in the $30,000 feature to overtake front-pacing Texican N and Ross Wolfenden with Rock On Moe, steered by George Dennis, It was the fourth straight for the Yankee Cruiser-Dancewiththebest 6-year-old, now undefeated in 2014, and a career winner of 28 races and $629,822.
The Page-Green tandem struck again in the $27,500 Del. Special when All Stienam overtook Mustang Art (Ron Pierce) in deep stretch for a 1:50.4 success for Jj&M Stable and Green Racing. People Are Crazy (Vic Kirby) escaped being locked in to rally for third-place honors. The victory was the third in four starts with a second for All Stienam, a Tell All-Odds On Stienam gelding.
The big four-win driving show by Chris Page was his final assignment at Dover Downs. He now heads back to his native Ohio to race at the new Miami Valley meet.

Northfield Park
Crazy Luv Bug captured the $9,500 Fillies and Mares Open Pace on Thursday (February 6) in Northfield Park’s third race. She is trained by Paul Holzman for owner Ameer Najor of West Bloomfield, Michigan. Aaron Merriman was aboard for the winning drive. Crazy Luv Bug (American Ideal-Luv’s For Ever-Storm Damage) started from post four and was third through an initial quarter of :28.2. Merriman tipped the mare to the outside in the second panel and she sustained a successful first-over bid through times of :57.2, 1:26.1 and 1:55.2. Crazy Lug Bug gamely bested her competition by three-quarters of a length. Completing the race were Canaco Star, Petite Courageuse, Hugs Again, Shes Glorious, Bubbler and Classic Sakuri. Thursday’s win was the 18th career victory for Crazy Luv Bug and increased her bankroll to $213,258. She was the race favorite and returned $4.20 to win.
