First Royal N wins Dawn Trader Memorial final

Berlin, MD — The $13,600 Dawn Trader Memorial final and two $4,500 divisions in the first leg of the Alan Myer Memorial Trotting Series were both raced Monday night at Ocean Downs.

Corey Callahan and First Royal N tripped the wire at 1:56.1 in the Dawn Trader Memorial final for fillies and mares. First Royal N is trained and owned by Nicholas Callahan. The 9-year-old gelding by Live Or Die has earned $155,556 lifetime.

In the first division of the Alan Myer Memorial Trotting Series, Victor Kirby drove Lullaby Blue to secure first place and stop the timer at 2:03. Lullaby Blue (Credit Winner) is a 4-year-old mare trained by John Wilkerson and owned by William Venables. Jr. and Joan Venables.

Corey Callahan and Sound The Belle won the second division. Sound The Belle, by Duke’s Ranger, is a 4-year-old mare owned and trained by Nicholas Callahan.
