Kiss My Art is victorious in Harrington debut

Harrington, DE — Josh Green’s Kiss My Art ($5.00, Corey Callahan) used a powerful charge in deep stretch to win his Harrington Raceway debut on Monday (May 9) in the featured $18,600 Open in 1:54.

Kiss My Art was a narrow winner in 1:54 in the Open Pace.

The 5-year-old Artsplace gelding reeled in pacesetter Roy Orbisong in the final stages and outkicked a fast closing Harlingen Hanover for a narrow win. Harlingen Hanover was second while Roy Orbisong rounded out the trifecta.

Kiss My Art has banked more than $65,000 in 2011.

Callahan and George Dennis each had four winners on the program.
