Mystique Cruiser, Sniper Hall dead heat in Harrington feature

Harrington, DE –— In what is believed to be the fastest dead heat in Harrington history, Baron Racing and Green Racing’s Mystique Cruiser ($2.40, Victor Kirby) and Foulk Stables and Lauren Allen’s Sniper Hall ($2.40, Mike Cole) could not be separated at the wire in a 1:53 clocking in the $20,000 Open Pace.

Sniper Hall, a 7-year-old Blissfull Hall ridgling, got away third and found room up the inside late to grab the lead before a late charge by the 4-year-old Yankee Cruiser gelding, Mystique Cruiser, who rallied sharply and gobbled up ground in the final strides.

Mystique Cruiser is trained by co-owner Josh Green, while Sniper Hall is trained by his co-owner, Lauren Allen.

Drivers Ross Wolfenden and Mike Cole each had four winners on the program.
