Nutmegs Gigilo was a 1:57.1 winner on Wednesday at Saratoga.

The Ameripan Gigilo sophomore pacer was last defeated on the Fourth of July and since then has had wins that have been near mirror images of each other. Moving three wide late has been the regular trip for the up and coming pacer who has been swooping the group every week en route to the grand slam, completed on Wednesday when he prevailed at 4-1.

Nutmegs Gigilo, who now has five wins on the year, has hit the board in every one of his starts dating back to the middle of May. The Wednesday win, just like the previous three, came in the $15,000 claiming/conditioned pace with a purse of $6,000.

Live racing continues on Thursday night at Saratoga with a first post time of 7:20 p.m.
