San Fran Lady N steps up to win Mares feature at Dover

San Fran Lady N was a 1:53.3 winner.

Reined by Tony Morgan, San Fran Lady N closed with a rush for a nose victory for owner-trainer Peter Tritton. Now a 20-race winner in her career, first in New Zealand and twice since coming to the U.S., the 8-year-old is by American breds Live Or Die and Emcil, a Miles McCool mare.

Destined shortly for the Meadowlands sales ring, Yagonnakissmeornot, driven by Montrell Teague, put in a game effort to finish second. Jeremes Sweetheart and Ron Pierce took show money.

McArma, owned, trained and driven by Ross Wolfenden, made it three wins in a row by taking the $13,000 mares pace in 1:55. Bonita Rocks (Allan Davis) was second in front of fast-finishing Non Pareil (Montrell Teague).

Wolfenden completed the card with three winnners. Trace Tetrick, Corey Callahan and trainer Dylan Davis had two wins apiece.
