There’s nothing Crazy about Cathy at Cal-Expo

Sacramento, CA — It is said that it’s better to be lucky than good. Well, Crazy Cathy was both.

Filly & Mare Open ll pacers, racing for a $5,500 purse, were featured at Cal-Expo on Saturday night (December 13), on which Crazy Cathy took advantage of her trip and a slow pace, which hurt others.

Owned by Jack Coffey, Joseph Getzler, and Lenny Getzler, in partnership with Clarke, Crazy Cathy, while pacing a :27.2 final-quarter, would prevail ($13.20) by three-quarters of one-length, in 1:56.2. Holme Fora Cuddle finished in second, and My Fanny (Luke Plano) finished another three-quarters of one-length farther back, in third.
