Dover, DE — Ragazzo Dolce continued his all winning record at Dover Downs this meet, winning his eighth straight on a chilly Wednesday (Jan. 13) at Dover Downs.

Ragazzo Dolce mastered the $15,000-$20,000 claiming handicap ranks with a 1:55.1 triumph. Jim Morand roared out of post eight with Ragazzo Dolce to secure the front and then never looked back en route to his second victory from the outside for co-owner/trainer Dylan Davis and Mike Casalino. The 5-year-old altered son of Muscles Yankee-Bella Dolce won for the 15th time, good for career earnings of $125,405. Man Of Muscle (Jonathan Roberts) was second. Master Builder (Tim Tetrick) was the show horse.

Montrell Teague enjoyed a two-hole trip behind favorite I Like My Boss before pulling out at the top of the stretch to rush past for a 1:54.4 victory with Bluebird Reverend in the $20,000 Open Trot.

In the feature race, George Dennis had to go three-wide from post eight with I Like My Boss before taking the early lead. After making a misstep at the start, Razor Ramone (Allan Davis) rallied and then on the backstretch led a charge at the leader.

As the field turned toward the stretch, Teague took to the outside with Bluebird Revered, a Swan For All-Little Revenue gelding, the only 4-year-old in the nine-horse field, and rolled by for his ninth win in 33 career starts. The Indiana-bred has won $269,714 in earnings for his owners, trainer Bobby Reeser, Denise Dennis, John Johannsen and Holly Case. War Cry Hall (Ross Wolfenden) hustled up second in front of Tirade Hanover (Vic Kirby).

Drinksforthehouse came from off the pace on the backstretch to quickly overtake the leaders on the way to his third win in a row and fifth in his last six races to score a 1:55.3 victory with Tim Tetrick in the bike. A recent addition to the John Cabot barn for owners Howard and Josh Kaufman, the Conway Hall-Pacific Photo 4-year-old gelding was followed by Machuca (Davis) and Adrenalin Junkie (Morand).

The team of trainer Eric Ell and owners Ken Wood, Bill Dittmar and Steve Iaquinta remain red-hot. Their Enrico AS trotter by Allstar Hall-Caspian recorded his third win in a row in 1:55.4. It was the fifth win this week for the group, who won four races on Monday and were disqualified in another after finishing first. In the $12,000 conditioned-claiming trot, Winemaster Hanover (Tetrick) finished second with Ashes Cash (Kirby) third.

Montrell Teague, Tony Morgan and Tim Tetrick all made the winner’s circle twice.
