On Monday (April 1), Northfield Park will be offering a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:

Race 8: (2) Rose Run Nemo draws well and has a big shot to do well if he minds his manners. (8) Long Stem Rose could do well in here despite the outside post draw.

Race 9: (2) Promiscuous has been the runner-up two of his last three starts and looks to do something similar tonight. (3) Dunkirk Beach has shown success for the Loney barn and could do well again tonight. (4) Dolly’s Rembrandt looks to have come back into form and could score again tonight.

Race 10: (1) Fred’s Dream has two straight wins; faces tougher tonight but has the inside advantage. (5) Norma’s Rose looks to use her tactical gate speed to her advantage and looks to be on the lead or in the pocket. (8) Sure Thing could do well in here despite the poor post draw.

Race 11: (1) Put Back was a coast-to-coast winner last start; draws the rail tonight and has a big shot to win again. (6) Mike’s Hope has been rock-solid and looks to be a solid competitor again here.
