On Monday (August 6), Northfield Park is offering a $15,000 guaranteed total Pick-4 pool. Northfield Park’s Pick-4 starts in race eight and offers a 14 percent takeout rate (the lowest in harness racing).

Analysis:

Race 8: (1) Towner’s Greatlady draws the inside advantage, has good gate speed and attracts Dan Noble in the bike. (4) Samovar Hanover has been racing very well and looks to race well again. (7) Call Me Surely has as good of a shot as any to be on the ticket.

Race 9: (2) Yocky draws better tonight and should finish better, too. (3) Cummingsandgoings drops in class to a level where she has been a proven winner and tries to win again. (5) CJ’s Victory comes off of a win at this level of competition; looks to be right there again.

Race 10: (6) Scootin Around won very impressively last start and looks to repeat tonight.

Race 11: (1) One For Pence has been doing well at this level of competition; the rail could be a big factor. (3) Princess C has been racing very well and breaths a sigh of relief that Lotto Ticket has won out of this class.
