On Wednesday (May 1), Northfield Park will be offering a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-4. The Pick-4 has a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent and starts in the eighth race.

Analysis:

Race 8: (1) Sassy Osborne makes a second start off of a layoff and could do well in here if he minds his manners. (2) Gerries Beach drew off and was a big winner in his most resent race; could do well again tonight. (5) Hop Zip makes his second start for the Gagnon barn and has reason to improve.

Race 9: (1) Wyatt sees Raber hand the lines to Page and looks for results. (2) Makin Green Lavec receives considerable class relief and is at a level where she should be able to be on top.

Race 10: (1) Duke Uh Brava comes off of an impressive qualifier at Scioto Downs and could win at first asking. (4) Heza Star Cruiser drops in class and should be very dangerous at this level of competition.

Race 11: (3) Pax could win in here if he minds his manners. (7) Triple G has been on the ticket three straight times and looks to have a major presence again tonight.
