Ready Cash fillies in high demand

Two fillies, both sired by the French champion sire Ready Cash, topped the Osarus Trot sale Thursday evening (Aug. 24) at Vincennes, Paris, France.

Gama Bourbon, a filly out of one of the most successful French maternal lines was sold for $275,000, while the hammer fell at $235,000 for Get Up Smart.

The first crop from French trotting star Bold Eagle are yearlings, and four Bold Eagles went through the ring. One was sold for $100,000, another for $47,000, while the others were bought back by their breeders.

A total of 103 yearlings were offered for sale, but only 53 were sold for an average of $29,600.
