by Karsten Bønsdorf

Ready Cash is the talk of the town in France. Last Saturday the 8-year old trotter won the UET Trotting Masters final, and yesterday his offspring dominated the prestigious Prix d’Etoile.

Avila wins the Prix de l’Etoile.

From the first crop sired by Ready Cash he has sired no less than three of the five richest trotters in the crop.

In the Prix de l’Etoile over 1-5/16 mile the filly Avila, driven Thierry Duvaldestin, was an easy winner in 2.00.2 (mile rate) while Atlas des Joudes, also by Ready Cash and driven by Pierre Vercruysse, finished third.

Avila picked up a check of $140,000 and she now has total earnings of $570.000 Euro – just $5,000 shy of the richest 3-year-old, Axelle Dark, who is also sired by Ready Cash.

The stud fee for Ready Cash is $24,000.
