Red Overbach hits six figures at onGait.com Monday

Boca Raton, FL — The Royalty For Life 3-year-old Red Overbach 2,1:56.3s was purchased for $103,000 by Michael Guerriero of Ontario on Monday afternoon (May 2) at onGait.com.

An Ontario Sire Stakes Gold winner at 2, Red Overbach was coming off a 1:56.4 qualifier at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Friday (April 29). He was consigned by the Ontario partnership of Carl Jamieson, Thomas Kyron and Dr. Robert Boyce.

This weekend’s auctions were led by the $53,000 sale of Keystone Cecilia 4,1:54.3f to Jim Crawford of New York. The 4-year-old Cantab Hall mare was previously trained by Crissy Crissman-Bier.

Sharp Looker p,3,1:55.2f, a sophomore daughter of Racing Hill, was sold by Brady Jenson to James Dutton of Ohio for $35,000 and is making her new connections debut on Wednesday in an Ohio Sire Stakes division.

And Addison Seelster, a Bettor’s Delight 3-year-old filly, brought a winning bid of $31,200 from Jeffrey Gillis of Ontario. Steve Heimbecker of Ontario was the seller.

Currently in the onGait auction ring are Springsteen p,5,1:48.1, a $742,333 career winner; John Fielding and David Anderson’s Fight Song 2,1:58.2s, a lightly raced Kadabra 3-year-old; and Always B Mimi p,3,1:54f, an Always A Virgin race ready mare from the Jason Johnson stable.
