Hopeful Series winner Rev Me Up is the 3-1 morning line favorite for this Friday’s Petticoat final.

The 10th-race finale finds Rev Me Up (Jason Bartlett, post 3) trying to complete a rare series double, having won last month’s age-restricted (to 3-year-olds) Hopeful over a sloppy oval. The sophomore daughter of Park Pace, with four wins and two seconds in eight seasonal starts ($62,700), is trained by Ron Burke for co-owners Earl Smith and Frank Baldachino. She’s the only 3-year-old in this octet.

“She’s pretty green, but she has a lot of talent,” Bartlett said. “She likes to have a target, so maybe we can get lucky and trip out.

“In the Hopeful, she was just better than those horses. Here, there’s more talent, but she can handle herself.”

The field for the final of the Petticoat Pacing Series, with declared drivers and morning line odds: 1-Forever Libby (Ryan Anderson, 5-1); 2-Docdor Libby (Jeff Gregory, 5-1); 3-Rev Me Up (Jason Bartlett, 3-1); 4- RD Blues (Patrick Lachance, 6-1); 5-Not So Slim (Brandon Simpson, 6-1); 6-I’m All Country (Jordan Stratton, 8-1); 7-Fiesta Camcun (Stephane Bouchard, 4-1); and 8-Allamerican Tout (Bouchard also listed, 12-1).

A $25,000 series consolation goes as the third race.

Friday night’s card also includes three $40,000 divisions in the third round of the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series (races 4, 6 and 8).

The $66,400 final of the Sagamore Hilll Pacing Series goes Saturday night, along with Round 3 of the George Morton Levy Memorial Pacing Series.
