Campbellville, ON — Leading Saturday’s (September 13) post parades at Mohawk, including the C$1 million Canadian Trotting Classic, will be trotter Giosc Du Vivier, who formerly raced at Mohawk and Woodbine, earning C$370,632 over the course of his career, and is now a Canadian Road Horse champion.
Giosc Du Vivier, a French-bred 14-year-old chestnut gelding, will be driven by his owners Lloyd and Carolyn Nugent.
Road horses are exclusively Standardbred trotters. The Canadian Road Horse Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1970 to promote this alternative use of Standardbreds.
