Robert Reynolds, 70, dies

Columbus, OH — Robert L. Reynolds, 70, of Troy, Pa., died July 19, 2011, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, N.Y.

Mr. Reynolds was born July 4, 1941, in Sayre, Pa., a son of the late Paul E. and Betty (Stewart) Reynolds. He was a graduate of Troy High School and was married to Patricia A. (Williams) Reynolds on February 23, 1962.

He was the owner of Bob Reynolds Sanitation and worked as a sanitation engineer in the Troy area since 1979. He was a past chief and member of the Troy Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the USTA since 1960.

Mr. Reynolds raced at Pocono Downs, Monticello and Yonkers Raceway and the Pennsylvania and New York State Fairs for many years.

He was also an avid bowler at the former Elmira Bowling Center and Troy Lanes.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat”; sons, Robert Jr. and Kevin (Barb); grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Angela and Alleysha; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Keith and Richard.
