Rockin On Venus came soaring out of the gate and went straight to the lead and was first to the quarter in :27.2.  He slowed things down with a :29.2 second and led to the half in :56.4.  I Draintheswamp A (Marcus Miller) came flying first-up to challenge for the lead going down the backstretch.  Rockin On Venus still led to three-quarters in 1:24.

As they made the turn for home Rockin On Venus found something more in the tank and pulled clear to win easily in 1:51.3.  Stewardoftheland (Jim Taggert Jr.) finished second best.  Fees Up N (Mike Merton) was third.

Rockin On Venus is a 6-year-old horse by Rockin Image.  He is owned by Pollack Racing and trained by Jeff Culliper.  It was his fifth win this season.  He now has 23 career victories.

Braxten Boyd drove three winners on the card.  Marcus Miller had a driving double.  Jeff Cullipher had a training triple

Tioga Downs had a large crowd on hand to watch Ruthie win the Bull Dog race final.  Ruthie is a 5-year-old Bulldog owned by Katie Exhorst.
