Roger Lee Reedy, 73, dies

Columbus, OH — Roger Lee Reedy, 73, of Wilmington, Ohio, died after a very long illness on Feb. 21, 2013, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Mr. Reedy was born Feb. 11, 1940, in Wilmington, a son of the late Glenn Maurice Sr. and Betty Selma Tillis Reedy. He had worked as a sales clerk for the Wilmington Walmart.

He was a member of the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ and the Clinton County Horsemen’s Association.

Mr. Reedy is survived by a son, Donovan; daughters, Tenley and Selma Rumohr; step-daughter, LaDeana Cooper; seven grandchildren; brothers, Danny T. (Susan) and John; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn Jr. and Denny.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday (Feb. 28) at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington. The Rev. Dr. Tom Stephenson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery in Wilmington. Friends will be received from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
