Rosecroft appoints Snell as new CEO

Ft. Washington, MD — Rosecroft Raceway is proud to announce that Ted Snell has been appointed as the new CEO of the Maryland racing establishment.

Mr. Snell, a veteran of the racing industry, possesses extensive knowledge in the sport on many levels. In the early 1990s, Mr. Snell held the position of President of both Rosecroft Raceway and Delmarva Downs (now Ocean Downs), and was able to increase attendance as well as expand simulcasting efforts at both locations.

Most recently, Mr. Snell served as the Vice President and General Manager of Pompano Harness Track with much success. Other career accomplishments include holding the position of President and General Manager of Freehold Raceway, General Manager of Suffolk Downs, President and General Manager of Finger Lakes Race Track and upper-level positions at greyhound parks in Florida, Connecticut and New Hampshire.

Mr. Snell has also served as a state senator in New Hampshire and holds expertise in working with legislators, lobbyists and Labor Unions.

Rosecroft Raceway is excited to welcome Mr. Snell, and looks forward to prosperous endeavors in the near future.
