Ft. Washington, MD — Rosecroft Raceway will be hosting a qualifying round for the National Harness Handicapping Championship this Saturday, March 20, starting at 7 p.m.

The fee to enter is $200 ($100 registration fee/$100 bankroll). The contest will consist of win/place wagers and the tracks being used for the contest include Dover (in-progress), Meadowlands, Yonkers and Woodbine.

Rosecroft will be sending the first and second place finishers of the contest to the Meadowlands on Saturday, April 24, to compete in the $50,000 final of the NHHC.

Along with the $800 buy-in being paid by Rosecroft, the top two finishers will receive two night hotel accommodations, with $200 going to first place and $100 going to the second place finisher. The remaining breakdown for the top three finishers is third place-$250; fourth place-$150; and fifth place-$100.
