P L Molly collects the first victory of her career in the second leg of the Harvest Series.

P L Molly and driver Bob McClure made a strong third-quarter move from fifth to second and after dropping in behind leader Nifty Trick at the top of the lane, proceeded to power by in the final eighth for a 1:59 score.

Nifty Trick, who lost by three-quarters of a length, finished second for the fourth-consecutive start. Order Mattie crossed the line third, while Briarwood Belle was fourth.

Eramosa Magic, who went off as the 2-1 favorite, made a break well-before the start. She finished eighth, but with broken equipment.

Trained by Matt Dupuis, P L Molly came into the Harvest Series second leg off a fifth place finish in the first leg and was winless in seven starts. She has now earned C$21,297 for owner-breeder Prince Lee Acres.

A $2 win ticket on P L Molly returned $12.70.

Ontario sired 2-year-olds, who were non-winners of C$30,000 as of Sept. 30, were eligible for nomination to the Harvest Series. All four Harvest Series finals for 2-year-olds will take place on Thursday (Oct. 25).

Live racing resumes Thursday evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Post time is 7:10 p.m.
