Columbus, OH — The Ohio State Racing Commission will hold a meeting on Wednesday (Aug. 2) to discuss 2016 new and amended rules for review at the Riffe Center, 77 South High St., Room 1920, at 10 a.m.

• 3769-7-35 & 3769-17-36 Payment of Fines
• 3769-7-36 & 3769-17-37 Must pay own fine
• 3769-7-42 & 3769-17-41 Appeal to the Commission
• 3769-7-44 & 3769-17-42 Cost borne by licensee
• 3769-8-02 & 3769-18-02 Trainer responsibility rule
• 3769-8-13 & 3769-18-13 Shockwave

“Rules on medication (Rules 3769-8-01 & 3769-18-01) will be discussed at the tentatively-scheduled Sept. 26 OSRC meeting before the full Ohio State Racing Commission, along with a discussion of the Racing Medication and Testing Consortium (RMTC) and Association of Racing Commissioners International (ARCI) medication proposals,” said Robert K. Schmitz, OSRC Chairman.

As well, an open forum to discuss Out-of-Competition Testing will be held immediately following the monthly OSRC Aug. 29 meeting, at 10 a.m., Room 1920, at the Riffe Center.
